Lighthouse Building Solutions was created by brothers Kerry and Colin Parsons to represent small to medium size business in the building products sector.  Lighthouse operates as a sales agency for its supplier partners, adding value for its customers – not cost. We are proud to represent West Coast Windows and Stilewood International Door & Window. Each of these businesses provides its customers with exceptional products and services.

We specialize in architect designed, custom built residences. We are a collaborative member of your project team, supporting design and decision making from start to finish.

Kerry and Colin saw a need among homeowners, builders, and architects for a partner offering a wider range of solutions. Their vision is to provide industry professionals with the solutions, information, and service they need and provide homeowners with the product solutions they want.

Kerry Parsons (left) is a window and door expert with more than twenty years of industry experience. Through involvement the Window and Door Manufacturers Association of BC, he has gained considerable industry knowledge. Kerry’s professional experience and business education at UBC combine to make him a valuable resource for customers in developing ideas and solving problems.

Kerry is an effective communicator, adding value by helping customers understand the various solutions they have to offer.  His goal is to ensure customers are thrilled with their new windows, doors, and wood products. Kerry is also an effective public speaker through his involvement with Toastmasters International, helping to inform architects on products and industry issues.

Colin Parsons’ career includes over twenty years experience in manufacturing industries in North America and Europe. He has a track record of leadership and performance improvement in safety, quality, production and cost reduction. His commitment to teamwork, experience in construction project management, and formal education at the Rotterdam School of Management (MBA) and UBC (BSc. – Applied Mathematics) make him a valuable resource for Lighthouse Building Solutions’ customers and partners.

Colin’s experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies for specialty wood products is employed by Lighthouse to find the best wood product solutions for its customers. As a member of the Advisory Committee for Manufacturing and Technology Sector Development Project, an organization dedicated to promote forest products innovation and technology in the southeast of British Columbia, he is a true insider on the latest developments in the wood products industry.

Both Kerry and Colin love doing business. They are avid fans of the Vancouver Canucks, enjoy golf, and appreciate the health benefits of a good bottle of red wine!
